NUS Celebrates Environmental Education and Capacity Building

2016 is a year of milestones for the NUS re: environmental education and capacity-building.

The MEM program is celebrating its 15th Anniversary in November, together with the Law School’s Asia Pacific Centre for Environmental Law (APCEL) [20th Anniversary] and the Bachelor in Environmental Studies (BES) program [5th Anniversary].
The celebrations will take place over three days (9-11 Nov)  as follows :

Wednesday 9th November
Morning : BES celebrates – Dr Sylvia Earle, world renowned oceanographer will speak on Sustainable Oceans
Afternoon : Workshop on EIAs

Thursday 10th November

APCEL celebrates – conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 13-15) – Guest of Honour the Hon. Mr Desmond Lee, Minister of State, MND

Friday 11th November
MEM celebrates – focus on the Future, and on Sustainable Production & Consumption (SDG 12) – Guest of Honour, the Hon.  Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Environment & Water Resources
