Cher, Mark Ruffalo and more talk about climate change in new film

It is a hard fact that the world we live in today is experiencing turbulent climate change. ‘In This Climate’ features many known figures and celebrities on their point of view of climate change today and most importantly, discussing how to combat climate change and influencing people to pay attention to the perils of the warming climate.

The film features commentary from Marina Abramović, Mark Ruffalo, Cher, Noam Chomsky, Vivienne Westwood, and Ian McEwan, among others. The film is produced by the cultural diplomacy organization Liberatum, and directed by Liberatum founder Pablo Ganguli and creative director Tomas Auksas.

‘In This Climate’ will be released after the United Nations Climate Change Conference taking place in Marrakesh in November 2016 and before the World Economic Forum in January 2017. The timing of the film is important in that it will raise the public’s awareness of this urgent crisis and further the work of the conference and its aims a year on from the historic Paris climate agreement. The film will be screened at cinemas, schools, universities, cultural centres, events and festivals globally to educate and inspire people from all walks of life, especially the youth, to take action and combat climate change. Liberatum will also launch a one year programme in over thirty countries to raise environmental awareness and promote wildlife conversation.
